South West Glazing Supply Inc. collected close to the $650,000 ask for 2213-17 Executive Dr. in Garland from Pings Imports Inc., David Rouble with Thomson Realty Group in Dallas tells GlobeSt.com. In turn, the glazing company leased 7,975 sf in an office/warehouse at 2420 McIver Lane in Carrollton's Valwood Industrial Park.
In closing the sale, Pings, now located at 4230 Forney Ave. in Mesquite, got a 20-year-old structure, positioned on roughly three-quarters acre in the Gavron Jupiter Industrial Park. Chris Stout with Capstone Commercial Real Estate Services in Dallas represented the importer.
Rouble, South West Glazing's broker, simultaneously negotiated a long-term lease for the 1.44-acre McIver Lane property, which the firm previously occupied. He says the site, near interstates 35 and 635, is closer to South West Glazing's customer base. The industrial space in the 22-year-old, 31,750-sf warehouse was marketed at $5.61 per sf, gross. The Pat Haggerty Co. Inc. of Dallas represented the Dallas-based joint venture owner.
