Fowler says that Poms considered a number of options before choosing the space at 5700 Canoga Ave., a 179,342-sf building. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but asking rates for the space were about $2.55 per sf per month full service gross at the time of the deal.
The insurance firm is a provider of commercial insurance, employee benefits and risk management services. Poms had been organically growing within its existing Calabasas facility but needed more space than was available at its old location, the Newmark Knight Frank brokers report. The 5700 Canoga building ownership was represented by Paul Stockwell of Studley.
