Headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Fitigues sells luxurious comfortable clothing through 14 free-standing retail store locations throughout the country, as well as through its customer catalog. Fitigues will operate as a new branded division of Chico's.
Fitigues' merchandise philosophy is complimentary to Chico's, and the brand appeals to a customer similar to the White House | Black Market customer, said Chico's president and CEO Scott A. Edmonds in a company statement. Fitigues was founded in 1988 by couple Steve and Andi Rosenstein.
Edmonds added that Chico's will provide the financial resources for Fitigues to expand in the U.S. over the next several years. Currently, Chico's operates 778 women's specialty stores in 47 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico under the Chico's, White House | Black Market and Soma by Chico's names. Executives plan to open 150 stores this year, including 70 White House units, 60 Chico's and 20 Somas.
