The Raccoon Lake development site is 4 ½ miles east of Walt Disney World on US 192. The first units in the 15 buildings are expected to be ready for sale by year end, according to the company's website and Charlie O'Sullivan, the developer's Orlando market president. The entire community is expected to be built out by 2011.
The homes, sized 1,200 sf to 2,200 sf will be priced from $370,000 to $480,000 on a full-ownership basis. On a fractional ownership purchase, the timeshares will be sold in four-week packages from $40,000 to $65,000. ICI also plans to break ground shortly on a 26,000-sf clubhouse that will have a 4,500-sf luxury spa.
The developer's second planned fractional timeshare enterprise in the Orlando area will be at the Legacy Resort development on Shingle Creek at an undetermined ground-breaking date.
