Pete Richardson with Henry S. Miller Commercial in Dallas tells GlobeSt.com that Able's Limousine Service intended to acquire the 1.5-acre property at 1301 W. Shady Grove Rd. when it moved into the Dallas County building late last year after a fire forced a relocation from an office building along Route 183. He says the short-term lease went into play to allow the limousine company to arrange financing, which was provided by Wells Fargo Bank's local office.
Richardson says the 20-year-old warehouse came to market a year ago when Fleet Star Painting Co. was acquired by a competitor. "They didn't need the real estate any more," he says. The marketing produced four offers, with Able's Limousines providing the highest offer and quickest close for the five-year owner, Edward Hines of Plainfield, IN, according to Richardson.
