Johnson began his real estate career in 1978 with James S. Black & Co., the predecessor to Tomlinson Black Commercial Inc. He remained with the firm until 1985, when he left for Kiemle & Hagood. In 1989, he left Kiemle & Hagood to start his own firm. He rejoined Kiemle & Hagood in 1995 and became the company's director of leasing. He became a shareholder in the company in 2003 and, in early 2005, increased his stake in the company when founder Jerry Hagood sold his shares in the company to Johnson and two other executives.

Johnson specializes in the sale, leasing, and development of office buildings and has significant experience assisting Fortune 500 companies in the acquisition and disposition of corporate facilities. He holds the certified commercial investment member designation CCIM Institute and the SIOR designation from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.

Johnson could not be reached Wednesday for comment on his new responsibilities and his move from Kiemle & Hagood. Pinch started with James S. Black & Co. in the mid-1970's, was named sales manager in 1979 and president in 1999.
