The fast-growing discount airline has seen passenger levels jump since moving into the terminal last May, prompting Massport to consider adding the food court in the former Delta Air Lines Crown Room frequent flier club, which was vacated in March when the carrier moved to Terminal A.

Located just beyond security clearance, the facility, operated by Autogrill Group's HMS Host Corp., will feature a Johnny Rocket's restaurant along with a Wolfgang Puck bar, restaurant and takeout counter and a Starbucks coffee shop. Lease terms weren't available by publication time. The food court also will serve Cape Air, which flies to Hyannis, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and Providence, RI and Midwest Airlines, which flies to Kansas City and Milwaukee.

Massport officials say they also plan to overhaul the food court outside of security in Terminal C. Meanwhile, plans are brewing to build more food outlets in Terminal B.
