Brian Corrigan of the Anaheim Metro Office of Voit Commercial Brokerage reports that the buyers acquired the building at 2212 E. Fourth St. from Olive Crest Treatment Centers, a charity that cares for abused children.
Corrigan and Rob Mitchell of Voit's Anaheim Metro office represented the seller, with Kevin Leonard of Healthwest Realty representing the buyer. Olive Crest, which formerly used the building as a training and teaching facility, has relocated its training and teaching operations.
The new owners intend to renovate the building, add a new parking structure and operate the building as a medical facility, with St. Joseph Hospital as the primary tenant. The renovations are expected to be completed October.
In the Banning transaction, Beaver Kirkmulon LLC, Beaver Medical LLC, Dacar LLC and Beaver Banning Group LLC from Calabasas bought a 27,983-sf medical office building at 6109 W. Ramsey for $8.42 million. Brad Umansky of Sperry Van Ness in Ontario represented the seller, Glendale, CA-based Glenwood Banning Partnership Ltd., with Jeff McGuire of Re/Max representing the buyer. Built in 1995 and situated on 1.97 acres, the property is 100% leased to Beaver Medical Group, a regional tenant.
In Costa Mesa, an Irvine-based LLC bought the 14,500-sf Paularino Medical Plaza at 720 Paularino Ave. for $5.37 million. Eric Bissar of Sperry Van Ness Asset Management & Leasing in Irvine represented the buyer, with Coldwell Banker Commercial represented the seller, Costa Mesa-based Paularino Holdings. Originally built in 1981, the two-story building will be occupied by the buyer for his surgical medical practice.
