Helen Sosso and her son, Scott, will remain as top executives at Prudential Palms. Helen Sosso is chairman; Scott is president. William Greg Reynolds and Kim Gilliland, managing partners of Prudential Cascade, become senior vice president and vice president respectively of the merged firm. The corporate headquarters of the combined companies will remain at Prudential Palms' Downtown location opposite the entrance to the Ritz Carlton hotel.
Helen Sosso opened Prudential Palms Realty in Sarasota in 2002 and grew the company to 160 agents in six offices. She is also president and co-owner of Prudential Preferred Realty in Pittsburgh.
Dick Gilliland started Cascade Realty in 1976 with partners Frank Berlin Sr. and Jr. Kim Gilliland became a partner at Cascade in 1983. Reynolds joined Cascade in 1977 and became a partner, president and co-owner with Kim Gilliland in 1993.
Reynolds-Gilliland grew Cascade to five offices and 125 agents doing annual sales volume of over $200 million, according to a jointly prepared statement from both companies.
