The new firm has more than $1 billion of 2005 transaction volume on the books. The company will have a staff of 130 which includes 45 brokers, 35 property management personnel and a maintenance team of 22 technicians.
"After a five-year engagement, we've finally tied the knot," says Bob Mathews, president of Colliers Spectrum Cauble. "It's the evolution of a great partnership and allows us to cover more ground and better serve our clients." Colliers Cauble & Co. was formed in 1967. Jon Barry founded Spectrum Co. in 1985.
Mathews says the merger also strengthens Colliers International's retail platform in the Southeast by bringing Spectrum into the Colliers International fold. Colliers International has 248 offices in 51 countries.
