David L. Fry has been named COO of traditional homebuilding. Christopher J. Hanlon has been named COO of tower homebuilding. James P. Dietz has become EVP of WCI. Michael R. Greenberg continues as the company's SVP, but focuses on special projects under the direction of Jerry Starkey, CEO.
While assuming responsibilities for the company's traditional homes in master-planned communities nationwide, Fry retains responsibilities for the company's real estate services division and also retains his corporate SVP post. Hanlon becomes responsible for high-rise residential building nationwide and has also been named a corporate SVP. While becoming a company EVP, Dietz retains his position as corporate CFO.
A spokesman declined to discuss the reason for the promotions. "We will let the announcement speak for itself," he tells GlobeSt.com. "We don't have anything else to add." WCI has communities and multifamily properties in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland and Virginia, priced from the low-$200,000s to more than $10 million a unit. It currently owns more than 17,000 developable acres and also operates Prudential Florida WCI Realty, a mortgage and title business.
