Scott R. Hughes, president of New Dover Associates Inc. of Framingham, tells GlobeSt.com the company, which creates merchandising incentive promotions, will move from its offices at 53 Brigham St. to its new location at 445 Simarano Dr. by May 1. The move will put the firm closer to Route 495.
The lease was a first for the building, which had been gutted and renovated by property owner, 445 Simarano Dr. LLC, an affiliated entity of Ram Management Co. of Portland, ME. Other leases are currently under negotiations, Hughes adds.
Terms of Cascade's lease were not disclosed but Hughes says the property, which features 34 loading docks and office facilities, generally rents for $5.95 per sf for 20,000 sf or more and $6.25 per sf for leases under 20,000 sf. Hughes represented the property owner, while the tenant was represented by John Coakley of Parsons Commercial Group Inc. in Framingham.
