John L. Petricola, who formerly headed his own firm, locally based the Louis Group, has been named regional director. John C. Harrison Jr., former president and CEO of Harrison Construction Co., also based here, has been named senior construction manager.
Petricola will be responsible for analyzing the financial viability of proposed RGDC projects in Florida and overseeing the development of new projects. At Louis Group he served as development manager for projects in South Florida, New York, Texas and Mexico. Among them were developments by Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles Corp. and Houston-based Hines Real Estate Investment Trust.
Harrison will handle due diligence reviews, develop budgets and oversee construction of RGDC projects here. Since 1980, in his former position, he handled more than $1 billion in construction projects.
Jones, an active player in South Florida's commercial real estate market for more than 30 years at posts with Grubb & Ellis and Cushman & Wakefield, was promoted to senior director of RGDC's Florida operations in March 2004. He is responsible for marketing, leasing and developing current projects and identifying new opportunities statewide. Of Petricola and Harrison, he says, "tapping their experience enables us to expand the Miami office in response to the many development opportunities that are being presented to us."
RGDC, a national owner, developer and manager of commercial real estate properties, is an operating company of the Rockefeller Group, which is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Estate Co. Ltd. of Japan.
