Rusty Tamlyn rose to managing director from principal. Anthony Fritsche, Mike Grosko, Mark Taylor and Aaron Thielhorn were named principals. "This is a significant group of promotions," says John Holland, principal and senior managing director with TCC's Houston office. "We typically have zero to none, or one a year, especially on the principal side, but this year, we've had some terrific, outstanding achievers with great business conduct."
Holland says this year's bumper crop of promotions occurred because of increased production and business growth with the company. "This is a function of the maturation process," he tells GlobeSt.com. "We've made a lot of good strides growing and building platforms and landing new business. These promotions recognize these guys for their contribution to that."
Tamlyn, who joined the company in 1999, was one of the firm's top producers in 2005. During his 25-year career, Tamlyn has handled management, analysis and execution of office, retail, industrial and multifamily product.
Fritsche, previously senior vice president, joined TCC a little more than a decade ago and co-leads the office's corporate advisory services group. Grosko, also marking his 10th year with TCC, is an alliance director, leading program management for newer clients. Taylor, also promoted from senior vice president, oversees the local global services team. The 20-year professional came on board in 2004. Thielborn, formerly vice president of management development, joined the company in 1999, beginning with the capital markets group.
"All of these guys have a different story," Holland says, "but ultimately, they've shown a combination of production and business growth, combined with clients' acknowledgment of superior customer service."
