The signing pushes occupancy to 99% in the 106,667-sf NorthBelt, located at 15355 W. Vantage Pkwy. in the northwestern submarket. "The deal leaves 900 sf remaining in the building," says Jim Patton, a leasing agent and broker liaison for the local owner, Hartman Management LP of Houston.
Patton tells GlobeSt.com that Baker Hughes, a NorthBelt tenant for more than a decade, signed a straight-up expansion with minimal tenant improvements to the extra area. According to local market reports, class B office space is $17 per sf in the submarket.
Bill Romane of NAI Houston represented Baker Hughes, which provides drilling, evaluation and production products and services to the national and international energy industries. Baker Hughes has its headquarters at 3900 Essex Lane in Houston.
