HUBBARDSTON, MA-A Boston developer is moving forward with plans to build a 30-unit condominium complex on a portion of 91 acres along the Hubbardston and Westminster line. David Murphy with Hamilton Development Partners in Boston tells GlobeSt.com that he expects to begin construction on the project by August after receiving permitting approvals from the towns.

The 30 duplex units, which have yet to be named, will be located off Streeter Road near Lovewell Pond and will each be about 1,800 sf. No price on either the project or the units have been set.

Murphy says he bought the site, which includes 51 acres in Westminster, about 15 years ago and initially planned to develop single-family homes on the parcel. When the market turned sluggish, however, he scrapped those plans. Murphy said he does plan to develop some single-family residences on a portion of the land.
