DBG is renovating its new acquisition to the tune of approximately $350,000, with move-in planned within the next several weeks. The company is operating from offices at 4835 E. Cactus Rd.
"They'd looked into buying before they signed the lease on their current location but couldn't find anything that worked," comments Jerry Jacobs, senior director with Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona Inc.'s Phoenix office. "This time they were committed, and they made it work." Jacobs and colleague Larry Downey, represented Farm Boys LLC, DBG's purchasing entity, while Mike McQuaid of Lee & Associates' Phoenix office represented American Summit.
Jacobs tells GlobeSt.com that the deal was signed, sealed and delivered in quick succession. "We found the building one day, made an offer on it the next day, then tied it up in agreement the following day," he says. "This was perfect for them."
