David Browne, a corporate managing director in the Fort Lauderdale office of Studley, represented the tenant in the renewal. The financial planning advisory firm considered relocating, but, "after a thorough review of viable building options here," Browne says, "decided its current location was the best long-term choice." The building's location in the business center, plus easy access to Interstate 95 are among the factors prompting the decision.

Michael Walters of locally based Walters Gottlieb Partners Inc. represented the owner, identified as One Clearlake Centre LC. The building was completed in 1987. Among the other tenants are Rochester, NY-based Paychex and the Miami-based law firm of Shutts & Bowen.
