CHELSEA, MA-A natural frozen food supplier has inked a three-year lease on 6,000 sf at Harbour Tech Center. Ian's Natural Foods, a Revere-based national supplier, will use the space at 160-180 Second St. as a warehouse and distribution facility for its line of all natural frozen foods.

"We quickly determined that Harbour Tech Center was an ideal fit for us, in terms of both functionality and location," says Steve Gellerman, president of Ian's Natural Foods. "With our two other facilities in Lawrence and nearby Revere, the Chelsea site will serve us well as we market and expand our line of products."

Patricia Simboli, a principal with owner ACS Development Corp., which owns 13 office and industrial properties in the same Chelsea neighborhood, tells GlobeSt.com that the 53,000-sf industrial and office building offered the firm easy access to Routes 1, 128, 16 and the Massachusetts Turnpike. "The building afforded them excess capacity for their Revere facility and it gives them fantastic distribution." Simboli notes that the area is also home to a number of food firms including General Mills, Kayem, Kettle Cuisine and Restaurant Depot.

Terms of the lease were not disclosed. Simboli says the building, which is almost fully occupied by tenants that include Corporate Plant Design, GCS Services and JF Moran Co. Inc, leases for around $12 per sf triple net.
