Masterson & Clark Framing Inc. will move into its new headquarters and operations center at 16028 N. 78th St. in the third quarter. The firm, which caters to the residential market, has its current operations hub at 23021 N. 15th Ave. in the Deer Valley Airpark."They were leasing their space up until now. They needed more space and wanted to own their own building," says Mitchell Stravitz with CB Richard Ellis in Phoenix. Stravitz, with colleagues Bruce Campbell and Louis Finocchiaro, represented Masterson & Clark while Dave Roberson with the locally based Shea Commercial Properties Inc. negotiated for the seller, C&J Family LP, also from Scottsdale.
Stravitz tells GlobeSt.com that the buyer had examined two other properties before choosing the Scottsdale Airpark building, which was listed for $2.87 million. "The size was perfect for them as was the amount of office space and the way it was configured," he says. The fit is so perfect that the new owner isn't planning to renovate or improve the structure, he adds.
The office/warehouse, built in 1997, is situated on 1.04 acres, south of Bell Road and near Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard on the north side of the metro area. The Scottsdale Airpark is considered one of the faster-growing industrial and business areas and the new location will allow Masterson & Clark to better service the fast-growing residential areas surrounding the airpark.
