Karla Peterson in MetLife's Dallas office oversaw the packaging of the fixed-rate financing for the two-year-old development at 15200 Memorial Dr., just off Interstate 10. Locally based Finger Cos.' 12-acre asset is a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units, ranging from 924 sf to 1,772 sf, with rents starting at $1,175 per month. Additional details about the financing will be forthcoming.

While the Energy Corridor submarket has received a great deal of attention from the office property leasing and investment standpoint, it's also becoming a favored development spot for high-end residential projects. Local developer Simmons Vedder & Co. recently acquired 19 acres at Briar Forest and Eldridge drives to start building high-density residential housing later this year.
