Clay Paslay, a 25-year member of the airport team's upper ranks, will vacate a long-time role as executive vice president of airport development. "Clay's management of billions of dollars in contracts and thousands of employees has made the difference in DFW's growth, expansion and improvements for the citizens of North Texas," Jeff Fegan, airport CEO, says in this morning's press release. "We wish Clay well and rest assured we will be calling upon him in the future for his wise counsel as our facility continues to expand and evolve."

The award-winning and nationally recognized Paslay has overseen a project roster that includes the rental car center, in-line baggage system, fire training facility and east runway expansion. But last year is viewed as the crowning accomplishment: completion of a $2.7-billion airport capital development program that included the two-million-sf International Terminal D, Skylink "People Mover" system, three 2,000-foot runway extensions and other infrastructure upgrades--all delivered on time and on budget. Paslay's plan is to form a management firm to work with airports and large facility owners to develop and execute strategies for major capital programs.

"DFW International Airport is one of the world's finest airports and I have been honored to have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge, industry-leading projects and issues with colleagues who are world-class experts in our field," Paslay says. "It's been an incredible experience."
