CARLSTADT, NJ-Marble Systems Inc., self-described as the nation's largest resource company for natural stone products, has leased 27,117 sf and will utilize the space as its New York metro area design and distribution center and general offices. The company operates similar centers in the Washington, DC, Miami and Los Angeles metro areas.
The signing comes at 620 Washington Ave., a 44,300-sf industrial building owned by the Hackensack, NJ-based Russo Development. Marble Systems was represented by Andrew Somple, senior vice president of NAI James E. Hanson, also of Hackensack; Russo Development was represented in-house. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
"This transaction reinforces the continuation of a strong industrial leasing market in the Meadowlands," Somple says. "This space will better suit Marble Systems' needs as a growing company."
