SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA-Guthrie Development Co. of Costa Mesa has sold all 14 buildings of its 91,000-sf Los Nietos Business Center in one month. The buildings, which range from approximately 5,200 sf to 7,650 sf, sold for an aggregate total of $12.4 million.
Guthrie Development was represented in all 14 sales by Paul Caputo and Seth Davenport of the Anaheim Metro office of Voit Commercial Brokerage. The buyers included a cross-section of businesses, including owner-users and investors.
Caputo and Davenport also represented the buyers in two of the sales. Each of them teamed individually with other brokers on some of the deals as well.
The other brokers who represented buyers included Greg Johnson and Dave Cox of Ashwill Associates; Luke McDaniel and Cameron Driscoll of Cushman & Wakefield; Chris Ehrlich of CB Richard Ellis; Austin Bleier, Louis Tomaselli and Mitch Zehner of Voit; Brian Duke of Trammel Crow and Elizabeth Hughes of Lee & Associates.
The Los Nietos Business Center is the first master-planned small industrial condominium product to be developed in Santa Fe Springs in about 20 years, according to Rob Guthrie, president of Guthrie Development. He says the speed at which the buildings sold illustrates the demand for small industrial product in the Santa Fe Springs market.
