Haydon Corp. Inc., a manufacturer of H struts and hydronic baseboards, signed a seven-year lease for the Great Southwest Distribution Center 39 at 1139 WN Carrier Parkway, Joe Rudd, marketing representative for the Denver-based property owner, ProLogis, tells GlobeSt.com. The deal boosts the 154,657-sf structure to 100% occupancy. Rick Medinis with NAI Robert Lynn was Haydon's rep.
Rudd says the space, empty nearly 14 months, underwent an $85,000 retooling for the newcomer to the region. Space in the multi-tenant building is quoted at $2.95 per sf net.
In another recent win for the 8.6 million sf of ProLogis-controlled space in the Great Southwest, Fortco Plastics Inc. of Portland, IN took down the 46,104-sf Great Southwest Distribution Center 12 at 1202 Avenue T, also on the Grand Prairie side of the two-municipality industrial park. The maker of plastic injection-molded components, represented by Corbin Crews with CB Richard Ellis in Dallas, also went with a seven-year term to get a North Texas distribution spot.
