NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ-RCC Real Estate Group has tapped CB Richard Ellis to act as exclusive leasing agent for 535 Mountain Ave. The building is currently vacant, as it was during its sale in January to RCC, an Edison-based investment group. CBRE brokered that sale.
Senior vice president Geoffrey Schubert and first vice president Dan Casey, both with CBRE's Saddle Brook office, will handle the assignment. The 145,874-sf property is in an office park environment with access to I-78 and retail such as the Short Hills Mall.
RCC bought the vacant property for $20 millionin January. Its former owner, K-Line America, the US subsidiary of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd., vacated the property when it shifted operations to Richmond, VA.
