Area construction sources tell GlobeSt.com the project will have an estimated hard construction cost of at least $80 million. They base their estimate on $200,000 per unit construction cost for the condos; $85 per sf for the retail; and $200 per sf for the office component.
Saul is also developing an estimated $150 million, 18-story, 1,500-unit residential condo community with some retail space at Circle 75 near Interstate 75, as GlobeSt.com previously reported.
A total of five developers, including Saul, plan $1 billion worth of mixed-use ventures in south Cobb County. The new space will total 1.5 million sf of class A office, 87,500 sf of retail, 4,315 condos and 880 townhomes, as GlobeSt.com previously reported.
