AFM Office Solutions took over 5001 Northeast Parkway to expand its business line to include document storage after several local customers lobbed a convincing play for the added service from their products' supplier, according to Jeff Givens, principal for Fort Worth-based NAI Huff Partners. He tells GlobeSt.com that AFM's executives "knew where they needed to be so they narrowed in on that building rather quickly." The upshot is "it was a real easy deal," he says.
Givens had the office/warehouse on the market for $3.15 per sf, triple net for owner, Kensington Realty Co. of Fort Worth. AFM moved in as soon as the direct deal was inked, taking down as-is warehouse space and getting some minor upgrades to the 1,500-sf office. In closing the deal, the company exited a small sales office in Irving and put the team into the Northeast Parkway location.
