"The group will help clients identify and act on opportunities in the hotel sector," Beider says. "We will help developers, owners and investors evaluate how a property is performing and assess both short- and long-term risk. We will work with clients to identify undervalued assets and develop turnaround strategies to maximize an asset's upside potential."
Besides Beider, founding members of the group include Steve Mills of NAI BT, San Francisco; Larry Kingsbury of NAI Huff Partners, Fort Worth; Josh Williams of NAI Brannen Goddard, Atlanta; Sanjeev Misra of NAI Hiffman, Chicago; Phil Miller of NAI Pyramid, Binghamton, NY; Jim Mouzourakis of NAI Commercial, Vancouver, BC; Gary Swedback of NAI Mexico in Tijuana; and Graeme Laird of NAI Andrew Park, Bangkok, Thailand.
The group expects to add several new members by the end of this year, according to Paul Reitz, NAI Global's vice president of capital markets. Reitz is the group's corporate advisor.
