JERSEY CITY-Construction is under way by SK Properties on a total of 525 residential units here. The two-building project, when completed, will include an 11-story, 67-unit condo building and a separate but attached 30-story, 458-unit rental building.
The condo, called Grove Pointe, is scheduled to be ready for occupancy in the spring of 2007. The rental building, meanwhile is expected to be finished and ready for occupancy in the fall of 2007.
And the Bridgewater, NJ-based SK Properties has launched its sales effort for the Grove Pointe condo portion. Designed by the New York City-based DeWitt Tishman Architects, the stepped-back building will have a two-story health club, an outdoor terrace and swimming pool and enclosed parking, according to Jonathan Kushner, a principal of SK Properties. The building will also have some 20,000 sf of ground-floor retail space.
