During Marshall's tenure, Opus has grown to more than 9.5 million sf of commercial property either completed or under way in Southern California. The company's revenues for its Southern California division totaled more than $300 million for 2005 and it projects that future revenues will range from $250 million to $350 million per year.

Marshall's new position "reflects the significance and magnitude of the Southern California region as it relates to our company's business plan," and it recognizes "the tremendous growth and success achieved by Paul since overseeing our expansion into the market," says Thomas Roberts, president and CEO of Opus West. Marshall, a 24-year industry veteran, has presided over some of the largest developments in Orange County and the rest of Southern California.

Among these are the $300 million, 900,000-sf Opus Center Irvine master plan across from the Orange County Airport, the $375 million Plaza-Irvine high-rise luxury condominiums and a host of other projects throughout the region.

Opus West is one of five regional companies within Minneapolis-based Opus Group, a $1.4-billion, full-service real estate development company. The Minneapolis company has completed more than 2,200 projects and has 24 million sf in planning ordevelopment.
