LAS VEGAS-MGM Mirage's $7-billion Project CityCenter mixed-use development seeks 470,000 sf of retail that breaks new ground. Of the retail, one insider says "there will be a combination of space devoted to different retail and restaurant market levels that will certainly also contain entertainment. We have teams researching all over the world for what's new, what's hot and what's going to be new in retail." Taubman Centers Inc. is partnering with the developer on the retail segment of the complex. It has inked a fixed-fee contract with MGM Mirage for a term of approximately 25 years.
