ITA Software will now occupy 56,747 sf on the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth floors of the 10-story, 140,000-sf building, Darryl Morse, senior vice president of Equis Corp.'s Boston office tells GlobeSt.com. "We got a below market deal for ITA Software, yet on the other hand the landlord was able to secure nearly half of the building with a tenant that is extremely credit worthy and growing."
Terms of the lease were not disclosed but Morse, who represented ITA, says similar space in the Kendall Square neighborhood generally leases for approximately $28 per sf. Steve Purpura of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners and Tom Taranto of owner Intercontinental represented the ownership.
