Under Allman's guidance, Regent Partners has developed or acquired more than $1.4 billion in national real estate markets over the past 18 years, the company says in a prepared statement. The firm has $400 million worth of active projects on the books. That number represents more than 10 million sf of office, residential and hotel space acquired and developed in the Southeast.

Among the firm's more notable projects are the acquisition and redevelopment of the two-million-sf, mixed-use Tower Place complex in suburban Buckhead; the acquisition of a large RTC portfolio consisting primarily of prime land tracts in Atlanta, such as the Riverwood land in northwest Atlanta and the Bluegrass land in the GA 400 corridor; and selection by the Army as developer and asset manager for its privatization of military housing at the Fort Carson base in Colorado Springs.

Prior to joining Regent Partners in 1998, Freeman ran his own hotel and real estate firm where he was chosen to operate Private Housing 1996 Home and Condominium Division, the only private housing and condominium coordinator licensed by the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games.

Freeman also spent seven years at the Stormont Trice Corp. where he helped develop several hotels, including the Emory Hotel and Conference Center and Emory Inn in Atlanta; and the Brasstown Valley Resort in North, GA. Most recently, Freeman has helped develop the Sugar Land Marriott Hotel and Conference Center outside of Houston; Hilton Hotels in Chicago and Hartford; and the Alexandria Westin Hotel and Condominiums under construction in Virginia. Prior to his real estate development career, Freeman practiced corporate law at Peterson, Young, Self & Asselin in Atlanta.
