Tom Fini, with the Fini Real Estate Group in Bedford, tells GlobeSt.com that the property drew "significant interest" from investors but it was a bid by Andrew Silberfien, managing member of the Stamford, CT-based Centerco Manchester LLC, which won the title to the property. "Like all real estate, the key is great location and this is located in the midway of a retail strip and has some of the highest traffic counts in the state."
Known as the Manchester Run shopping center, the 65,327-sf plaza at 1045, 1049 and 1051 South Willow St. is fully leased to tenants that include Taco Bell, Petco and Sports Authority. Each has leases that run from seven to 15 years, Fini says.
Fini, in conjunction with Marc Strauss, with Marcus & Millichap's Fort Lauderdale office, handled the transaction for the seller, Cliff Rosen of Rosen & Associates, of Miami. Edward Jordan, with Marcus & Millichap's New Haven office and Adam Kristol, with Marcus & Millichap's Fort Lauderdale office, represented the buyer.
