Herbalife is a publicly held network marketing company that markets nutritional supplements, weight loss and personal care products, and other related products. The company operates internationally, selling in 62 countries, according to its latest public filings.
Arden, which was acquired by GE Real Estate this year, is continuing to operate under the Arden name. Its portfolio comprises 14.8 million sf at 103 properties and 175 buildings from Ventura County to San Diego County.
The 10-story, 224,000-sf class A Pacific Gateway II was built in 1982 and was renovated in 1990. The building features 23,000-sf floor plates and is located near the 405 and 110 freeways.
Pacific Gateway II is in the Los Angeles city limits near Torrance, part of the South Bay office market, where advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi signed one of the year's largest office leases recently. The ad agency signed for 108,000 sf for 15 years in a renewal at the Del Amo Center, at 3501 Sepulveda Blvd.
Sinfield of Grubb & Ellis represented the landlord, Del Amo Fashion Center Operating Company of Virginia. Saatchi & Saatchi was represented by Joe Thanhauser of Byrnam Wood and Ralph Simmonds of Simmonds Realty Group Inc.
