Located at 6902 E. Greenway Parkway, Westin Kierland Resort & Spa was completed in November 2002. It features about 70,000 sf of indoor meeting space and more than 100,000 sf of outdoor event area as well as a 27-hole golf course and full-service spa.

Nassetta, president and CEO of Host Hotels says in this morning's press release announcing the transaction.
Seller Kierland Resort Co. LLC is a Delaware limited liability company made up of Dallas-based Woodbine Development Corp., Herberger Interests of the Greater Phoenix metro, Cook Inlet Region Inc., of Anchorage and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. of White Plains, NY. Molinaro Koger's Phoenix office represented the seller.
In the Greater Phoenix metro, Host Hotels also owns the Marriott Scottsdale Suites Old Town at 7325 E. 3rd Ave., Scottsdale Marriott at McDowell Mountains at 16770 N. Perimeter Dr. and Ritz-Carlton at 2401 E. Camelback Rd. in Phoenix.
