Details about the deal and the move-in were unavailable by press time, but the organization will be relocating from 2512 S. Interstate 35 to 6800 Burleson Rd., taking space to a 274,231-sf building that was formerly occupied by Lockheed Martin Corp. The Bergstrom Technology Center at 6800 Burleson Rd. is part of a 700-acre, mixed-use corporate campus. KBS Realty Advisors of Newport Beach, CA is the owner.

The tech center's quotes for the multi-faceted space range from $4.80 per sf to $15 per sf. The deal pushes the 1984-constructed center to 75% occupancy.

"Capcog is a perfect addition to the current mix of governmental tenants in the building," Greg Johnson, vice president for Transwestern Commercial Services in Austin, says in a press release. Johnson represented KBS while Gaines Bagby of CB Richard Ellis in Austin was the tenant's rep.
