She will start at her new position on June 16 and replaces Edward Sheeran, who served as executive director of the Yonkers IDA for eight years until his retirement earlier this year. Lynch also serves as chairman of the board of directors of the Business Council of Westchester.

"Her professional accomplishments in the fast-paced world of commercial real estate are very well known, having built up a 15-year track record of achievement at Ashforth." The mayor, who is chairman of the Yonkers IDA, adds, "Her knowledge of real estate will be a vital link between the citizens of Yonkers and the private real estate development firms we have appointed to fulfill our dream of revitalization."
