COLTON, CA-Saddleback RV Center, a 35,000-sf expansion of the recreational vehicle dealer's business, has taken its place alongside Ashley Industries' 850,000-sf warehouse and the 22,000-sf Canyon RV Center. The Hodgdon Group completed development of the Saddleback RV facility recently as part of a $50 million project on an 81-acre site at 755 Ashley Way.
The recently opened $6.5 million facility occupies 4.85 acres. Besides the 35,000-sf concrete tilt-up building, it features 16,900 sf and 14 service and detail bays.
Designed by RKZ Inc. of Tustin, the project is the second location for Saddleback RV, which maintains another location in Irvine. Michael Sebastian, owner of Saddleback RV Center, notes that US ownership of RVs is reaching record levels and the site is designed to capitalize on that growth.
East Valley Land Co., a Hodgdon and Jacques Yeager joint venture, sold the land to Saddleback RV Center, Ashley Industries and Canyon RV. It also coordinated planning, entitlement and construction for each individual owner.
The Hodgdon Group is a privately held real estate development, brokerage and construction company led by Aaron Hodgdon and based in the Inland Empire. In the last five years, Hodgdon has been involved in the development and construction financing of over $125 million in industrial, manufacturing, retail and housing projects.
