"I'm transitioning running the office," Pogue tells GlobeSt.com. The high-level promotion has been accorded to Joseph Wallace, who came on board a year ago to lead the office tenant rep and global corporate services' groups.

Wallace will remain at the helm of the office team in addition to sharing oversight for a 191-employee office with 85 sales professionals. Pogue says Wallace, whose territory has always been the office market, will be brought "up to speed on investment activities as well as industrial and retail." Since 2002, the Dallas office has logged a 206% revenue growth and ended 2005 with $4.6 billion of completed property sales and leasing activity.

"Under Rich's leadership, CB Richard Ellis has clearly become the local industry leader," Wallace says in a press release. "I've benefited enormously from his wisdom and insight."

Wallace, with nearly 20 years in the business, started in May 2005 with CBRE after a stint at the helm of his own company, Highland Advisors LLC. He also held executive positions with HQ Global in Dallas and CarrAmerica Corp. in Washington, DC.
