Other signed tenants at the property include a 4,000-sf Citibank branch on the ground floor; State Farm, which has 1,600 sf of ground-floor space, and Magnificat, a publishing firm, which has leased 3,000 sf of space at the building located at 86 Main St. Mayor Philip Amicone says Station Plaza is "a fantastic addition to our waterfront business district and will be a great draw for residents both in and out of the downtown area." The mayor notes that it is part of $1 billion in new development that has taken place of late in the city with another $5 billion planned over the next 10 years.
Recent projects completed by Homes for America Holdings include condominium investments in Fort Myers, FL and the $120-million dollar renovation of the 17-acre Coltsville complex in Hartford, a former firearms factory and worker community that dates to the mid-1800's. The development, known as Colt Gateway, will offer close to 300 new apartments and 300,000 sf of commercial and retail space, company officials say.
