UNION, NJ-In Toons LLC, an automotive electronics dealer, has acquired a 122,500-sf facility here. The Duerr Tool & Die Co. sold its warehouse and headquarters office.
The facility will serve the company's two existing retail locations in Central New Jersey. The transaction was arranged by first vice president Lou Belfer, vice president Scott Belfer and SVP Mindy Lissner of CB Richard Ellis, representing the seller. The sale price was not disclosed. Duerr will be moving its headquarters to another location in the region, the site of which hasn't been formally announced.
"We were able to achieve Duerr's real estate objective in this stragetic disposition," Lou Belfer says. "It should also prove to be an advantageous location for In Toons."
The asset, located at 1135 Springfield Rd., is a six-year-old building that includes 21,000 sf of office space with a two-story atrium. The property also includes an air-conditioned manufacturing section in the warehouse portion of the building.
