William J. Beckeman, with Linear Properties, tells GlobeSt.com that the off-market acquisition from locally based GFY Realty Limited Partnership, is just one of several the firm plans to buy in New England in the upcoming months.
"We've only invested a third of the capital allocated to us so we have a lot more buying to do," says Beckeman.
The company's latest acquisition is located at 75 Newbury St. just north of the Route 114 interchange on Route 1. It counts among its tenants Circle Furniture, Eastern Butcher Block, California Closets, Heartwood Kitchen, European Wood Floors and InnuWindow. Linear Retail also owns Centre Street Village in Danvers, a 27,415-sf shopping center located on Route 1 South.
Finard & Co., of Burlington, has been hired as property manager and exclusive leasing agent charged with securing tenants for two existing vacancies totaling 6,104 sf.
