LIVINGSTON, NJ-In two separate transactions, brokers from locally based Gebroe-Hammer Associates have sold a total of 125 residential units with a combined selling price of more than $11.8 million, according to Kenneth Uranowitz, managing director of the firm. In both cases, the buyers and sellers, investment groups, were not identified.
In the larger of the two transactions, G-H vice presidents Greg Pine and David Jarvis brokered the sale of Dover Hills Apartments, a four-building, 100-unit garden complex in Dover. The property is fully occupied, according to Pine, and the new owners are planning "extensive upgrades."
In the second deal, the firm's Elliot Schechter and Benjamin Greenstein represented both the buyer and the seller in the sale of 84 Waldo Ave. in Jersey City. The mid-rise building encompasses a total of 25 apartment units.
