In another Bay Area promotion, Bruce Kimbrew, heretofore the senior vice president who oversaw and directed all aspects of design and construction for Bank of America, is now heading up the company's project and development services unit in San Francisco and throughout the Northwestern US. In his new position, Kimbrew is responsible for developing new business in the San Francisco Bay area and overseeing multi-site project management assignments throughout the Northwest region.
As for the additions to the Strategic Consulting unit, senior vice president Benjamin Pollack is in the process of relocating from Seattle and vice president Diane Vrkic is relocating from the home office in Chicago. The local unit is run by executive vice president Tom Bomba, who tells GlobeSt.com the size of the local Strategic Consulting group has gone up and down with the local economy.
"Strategic Consulting is not a geographically-based group, it's a competency-based group; we go where we need to go," says Bomba. "That said there needs to be good coverage in the Bay Area and it has been under covered."
