MAITLAND, FL-The Philadelphia-based developer Klein Co. has begun construction on Oasis, a $30 million, 81-unit condominium project across from Maitland Summit Boulevard.
The four-story project will contain one-, two- and three-bedroom units with floor-to-ceiling windows, European-style cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. Marketing efforts will begin in September, when a sales and design center is set to open. Prices for the units will start at $250,000.
The Klein Co. is also developing Dwell, a 219-unit luxury apartment complex next to Oasis, and has developed Cobblestone Crossing, a 294-unit garden apartment and rental town home community in Lake Mary.
Klein Co. vice president of development Alon Barzilay tells GlobeSt.com that the project is located in an infill site and will take advantage of Maitland's central location. The project is also close to the RDV Sportsplex, an 8,000-member sports, fitness and health center. "We've developed a lot of projects in central Florida and Maitland is centrally located," Barzilay says. "It's an extremely developed area with lots of office space."
Barzilay calls Oasis and Dwell "cool, contemporary and cutting-edge projects." "We wanted to create a place unlike anything currently available in suburban Orlando," he says. "Oasis pairs sophisticated amenities with cutting-edge style. The end result is a new lifestyle experience--a tranquil sanctuary for those who appreciate contemporary design."
