BOONTON, NJ-Three new tenants have signed leases totaling nearly 15,000 sf at Boonton Plaza, a 190,000-sf open-air shopping complex here. The property is owned by the Short Hills-based Garden Commercial Properties.

According to Michael Gartenburg, Garden Commercial's director of leasing, the new signees are headed by Sleepy's, the Mattress Professional, which has taken an 8,635-sf space. The other two new additions are Eagle Martial Arts and Ricky's Candy Cones and Chaos, both of which have taken 3,000-sf spaces at the complex. All three will open up in the final 23,000-sf building, the construction of which is wrapping up the build-out of the complex.

The new tenants join International House of Pancakes, which signed a lease earlier this year and is scheduled to open its doors later this month. Existing tenants at Boonton Plaza, which is located just off I-287 in Morris County, include Wal-Mart, Wachovia Bank, Quizno's Sub, Payless Shoe Source and GameStop.
