The development site is an 8.1-acre parcel at 14339 White Sage Rd., just south of Highway 118 and west of Highway 23, according to Phil Saide, project manager for the Thousand Oaks office of Whittier-based Oltmans. The new WDC headquarters will replace its current corporate headquarters in Agoura Hills and its builder division in Camarillo, with the Agoura store to remain open as a retail operation.
The 132,500 sf will comprise a 115,000-sf building that will consist of a retail showroom, administration, warehouse and distribution center space. A second building, of 17,500 sf, will be leased out as retail space.
Designed by Poliquin Kellogg Design Group of Woodland Hills, the project includes on-site parking for 149 vehicles. It is scheduled for completion in March, 2007. WDC, which employs more than 180 workers, has stores in Agoura Hills, Camarillo, Canyon Country, Northridge, Oxnard, Santa Barbara and Moorpark.
