BURBANK, CA-Crown Realty& Development has landed Old Navy, American Eagle, Zumiez, Aldo Shoes, Zales Jewelers and several other new retailers that are scheduled to open stores totaling more than 36,000 sf. The new retailers are all expected to be operating by the end of autumn at the 1.2-million-sf property, which Crown recently refinanced in a $183 million deal reported on GlobeSt.com.

Jim O'Neil, EVP with Crown Realty, says that signing the new tenants continues Crown's repositioning and upgrading of the mall in Downtown Burbank. Crown Realty & Development was represented in all of the transactions by Heather Richmond of General Growth Properties. The third-party leasing and property management team has represented Crown since the company acquired Burbank Town Center in 2003.

Crown has also launched a new marketing and advertising campaign based on the theme "Get Fresh." The campaign was designed to emphasize the Burbank Town Center's evolving mix of retailers, restaurants and entertainment options, according to Robert Flaxman, co-founder and president of Crown.
